ASR Green Deicer® solid deicer is granulated calcium magnesium acetate base environmentally friendly chemicals that can be widely used for snow and ice melting in areas such as airport, traffic, highway, main arteries, urban street, courtyards and etc. It is identified as a low corrosion, environmental alternative to road salt and is used worldwide to answer environmental concerns and solve problems associated with corrosion and concrete spalling. ASR Green Deicer® is produced as a spherical pellet and granule. This configuration minimizes dust, reduces compaction in storage and results in even spread patterns. ASR Green Deicer® works best above -7°C.
ASR Green Deicer® can be used to offset the corrosive effects of chlorides while enhancing deicing performance when blended with road salt at rates greater than 20% and 40% ASR Green Deicer® by weight and it is available from Arya Shimi Rasa Company as ASR20® and ASR40® solid commercial deicer, respectively.
